- As a transition candidate (senior dentists and associates), you attend the transitions workshop Transitions in Dentistry and receive in-depth information about all aspects of a successful transition.
- At the workshop, you discuss your goals one-on-one with a Mercer Transitions Consultant. Your practice may be transition-ready; if not, you may choose to work with a Mercer Transitions Practice Consultant to prime your practice for your transition.
- When your practice is transition ready, Mercer Transitions (MTC) will analyze your dental practice and prepare a comprehensive transition plan.
- This plan includes an in-depth analysis of the practice, review of your historical financial
results, and projections of various transition scenarios that show exactly how a transition
can be structured to meet your goals, as well as an estimate of the fair market value of your
practice. We go beyond the numbers to determine what resources are needed (both financial
and otherwise) so that you can realistically achieve your goals.
- MTC also provides documentation to support the entire transaction from the initial
associate period (if applicable) to the eventual buy-in.
- Once MTC has prepared a comprehensive transition plan, many of our clients turn to their
Mercer Mastery Consultants to support them through the transition process. Our
